Our police department is in need of full-time or part-time POST certified officers. We are also searching for a police chief! Officers will receive a starting salary of $52,000.00 with benefits negotiable. Police chief will receive a starting salary of $63,000.00 with benefits also negotiable. As such a small department you will gain experience across the board, you will not be assigned to just traffic or small task force. You will be on the move addressing, but not limited to the following: public safety concerns around town to include ordinance, traffic, disturbances, trespassing, medical calls requiring police presence, noise disturbances, suspicious person activity, drug activity, and proactive policing (extra checks, foot patrols, park check etc.), and community engagement. Our citizens deserve quality police services and we are looking for the right candidates to serve our citizens.
