Community

The Town of Log Lane Village was established in 1956. It is a small rural community of approximately 1,250 people nestled on the edge of the South Platte River. The Town was named for the log houses in the village. The town is a mixture of log homes, trailers, and modular homes with over half the population of families and children. Our community is small but we are mighty. We care about our neighbors and the citizens we serve. The Economic Development is comprised of 4 marijuana dispensaries, 1 convenience/liquor store, auto repair shops, a light industrial fabrication shop. and a Dollar General.  The Town has several events throughout the year. We have an Easter egg hunt; Independence Day fireworks; Town BBQ and National Night Out to show appreciation for our police officers; Car Show and Fall Festival; Trunk or Treat for Halloween; Kid's Christmas Party where the town purchases Christmas gifts for all the kids that sign up for the event and Santa Claus shows up to hear the kid's Christmas wishes. We are located an hour northeast of Denver; 20 miles from Jackson Lake State Park and an hour from Sterling Reservoir and the Pawnee National Grassland. We are minutes away from Fort Morgan. Come see what a great community we have. Please feel free to reach out to our board of trustees or the administration office if you have any questions at 970.867.8027. We welcome you into our community!
