2022 Trash Fee Resolution

RESOLUTION NO. 2022- 01

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE TOWN'S MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO INCREASE THE TRASH FEE

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Log Lane Village Municipal Code, Sec. 2.1 the Town maintains a master fee schedule whose fees, charges and costs imposed by the Town may be established from time to time by action of the board of trustees; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Log Lane Village Municipal Code, Sec. 14-11 the Town's rates and charges for trash collection and disposal shall be as set forth in the Town's master fee schedule; and

WHEREAS, the Town's current trash collection and disposal fee is $20.00 per month for residents age sixty-four (64) and younger; and,

WHEREAS, the Town's current senior trash collection and disposal fee is $15.00 per month for residents age sixty-five (65) years and older; and,

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees believes it is in the best interest of the Town of Log Lane Village to amend the Town's Master Fee Schedule to increase the trash collection and disposal fee by $1.00 to $21.00 per month for residents sixty-four (64) and younger and to $16.00 per month for residents sixty-five (65) and older.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF LOG LANE VILLAGE, COLORADO AS FOLLOWS:

The Town's Master Fee Schedule is amended to increase the Town's trash collection and disposal fee by $1.00 to $21.00 per month for residents age sixty-four (64) and younger.

The Town's Master Fee Schedule is amended to increase the Town's senior trash collection and disposal fee by $1.00 to $16.00 per month for residents age sixty-five (65) and older.
